Endovascular Procedure

Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a non-invasive procedure used to eliminate varicose veins and a possible treatment for spider veins. Sclerotherapy involves an injection of a solution directly into the abnormal surface vein. The sclerosing solution additionally closes the feeder veins under the skin that are causing the spider veins to form, thereby making a recurrence of the spider less likely.
